Special About Tour :

A delightful journey on a tour through the heart of Deccan plateau to discover India’s lost World Hyderabad with Hampi and Mysore. The tour takes you deep in the region full of abundant natural beauty which has seen some of India's most remarkable empires flourish and decline; explore temples and ancient architecture including the world-class UNESCO heritage and archaeological sites, till now seen by few visitors visiting India.

It is a trip that takes you deep into the region to discover one of the most beautiful and less explored off beat destination of India that we called India’s lost World – Hampi, the capital of Vijaya Nagara Empire, where different dynasties ruled from 136 to 1565. The rich architectural legacies of these mighty dynasties still remain today and are explored during the India’s lost World Hyderabad with Hampi and Mysore holiday tour while travelling. The Indo-Islamic, Perisan-influenced north collided with those of the Dravidian south – a historical cross-pollination that has left a remarkable architectural legacy.

Begin the your private and flexible India’s lost World Hyderabad with Hampi and Mysore tour in Hyderabad and see the exceptional palaces and forts of Nizam’s before visiting the monuments of the 16th - 17th century Muslim Sultanates of Gulbarga and Bijapur. In remote Badami, Belur and Halebidu, you’ll visit some of India’s most intricately embellished Hoysala temples, erected more than 1,500 years ago, while at Hampi, amid a landscape of boulder hills , banana groves, and visit the remains of the south's last great Hindu Empire Vijaya Nagara, capital at Hampi.

Explore the coffee plantation town of Chikmagalur and continue to Mysore which offers the spiritual, artistic and perhaps old-fashioned side of India with its European influenced Maharaja’s Mysuru Palace. The tour finishes at Bangalore the garden city of India from where you fly back to your country.

We stop at cities, towns and villages on the way to get an insight into the daily life of culturally diverse people of these areas. You choose to include Private guides throughout the tour or set off on a more independent trip with our English speaking driver, with local guides available at all the famous sights and makes history and culture come alive through the stories that unfold throughout the journey.

Although far less well known than the India’s lost world Hampi, the ruins of ancient Badami fully warrant the long journey across one of the emptiest regions of the Deccan to visit. Ranging from rock-cut cave shrines to structural temples and forts, they were the work of the Chalukyas, and are scattered across a gorge between two steep, rocky hills, divided by a large water tank. The cliffs provide an epic backdrop to the Bhuthanatha Temple, whose finely carved towers and pillars are reflected in the green waters at its feet. Overnight in Badami for one night.

Day 6 Badami to Hampi

Today morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Hampi ( 140 kms/ 4 hrs). Just on the outer skirts of Badami visit the ancient Chalukyan temples at Pattadakal and Aihole. More than a hundred ruined temples, dating from the 6th to the 12th centuries, are litter the fields and rock outcrops around the village of Aihole, near Badami. Pattadakal, on a bend in Malaprabha River, is believed to have been the place where the Chalukyan kings staged their coronations. UNESCO World Heritage Site status has been conferred on its main temple complex. Time permitting; your driver may also lead you to nearby Mahakui, a tiny, forgotten pilgrimage spot featuring a spring-fed bathing tank and a cluster of 6th and 7th century Hindu shrines.

Later after lunch continue drive to Hampi the India’s lost World is the ancient site – the ruined city of Vijaya Nagar Hindu empire, in central Karnataka with a landscape of boulder hills and Tungabhadra river. On arrival check in to the hotel where you will stay for three nights.
