Enroute you will stop for lunch break and comfort breaks. We drive through the beautiful villages of Fagu, Theog, Matiana, Narkanda, and Rampur famous for apple, apricot and cherry orchards. We will stop for lunch after Rampur and reach Sangla valley by evening where we will drive to Chitkul 3,450 metres / 11,318 feet (22 kms / 1 hrs) the Last Indian Village on the Indo Tibet Border in Baspa Sangla valley. The village of Chitkul is like something from a fairy tale. On arrival check into your hotel and evening is free to relax and walk around Chitkul. This Land between Heaven and Earth is Kinnaur and is known as the Baspa Sangla valley, after river Baspa which flows through the valley. Here you will enjoy the unspoiled beauty of the mountains, rivers and nature full of Himalayan cedar trees, fruit orchards, barley fields and picturesque hamlets. Overnight in hotel in Chitkul or Sangla for 1 night overlooking the stunning mountain landscapes.

Day 3 of your Spiti valley Budget Trip after breakfast at your hotel at 09:00 AM and drive to visit Rakcham 2,900 metres / 9,510 feet - a hidden paradise of Sangla valley famous for mountain views and a great place to enjoy nature walks. Have your time to take a relaxing nature walk across the Baspa River. The landscapes are stunning, and you will have plenty of time to walk around and enjoy them. Later drive to Sangla and walk through Kamru village famous for the beautifully carved ancient temple, Buddhist monastery and the Tower like Kamru Fort. Later we continue drive you to Kalpa village 2,960 metres / 9,711 feet (40 kms/ 2-3 hrs). Enroute we will stop at Reckong Peo the district headquarters of Kinnaur district and will have a walking tour around the local market.
Continue drive to Kalpa (7 kms), where we will visit the So Called Suicide Point near Roghi village – Surprisingly which has been converted into a beautiful photo place saying "I Love Kinnaur" and is famous for its cliffs and Himalayan Mountain views. Later Check into the Hotel In Kalpa overlooking the village and the magnificent Kinner Kailash Mountain Ranges. The finest view of the Mt. Kinner Kailash Mountain (6,050 metres / 19,850 feet) can be had from Kalpa. This is a spectacular sight early in the morning as the rising sun touches the snowy peaks with crimson and gold light. The Kalpa village is covered with thick pine forests and is famous for fruit orchards of plums, apricots and apples. Overnight stay in Kalpa for 1 night.

Today at Sumdo Check post we will be entering the beautiful Spiti valley the Land between Tibet and Ladakh is the best offbeat Tourism Destination in Himalayas. In Spiti you will experience the wonders and natural beauty that will keep you spell bound for a long time.
We will also visit the Gue village in Spiti Valley which is famous for its naturally preserved Mummy of a Buddhist monk (Sangha Tenzin). The 15thcentury old, mummified body, in a sitting meditation pose of the Buddhist monk is naturally preserved due to the cold, dry and harsh weather of Spiti valley. The mummy of Gue village is believed to be around 600 years old, which was discovered here from a Stupa after the earth quake in 1975, while the Indo Tibet Border Force was clearing the area and building the road. Very clearly you can see the teeth, hairs and the well preserved skin on the bones of the Mummy of Gue in the Himalayas.
Later we continue to Tabo where on arrival we will visit the Tabo monastery which is the oldest monastery in the Himalayas founded in 996 AD. Tabo Monastery is famous for its art and History and is the oldest continuously functioning Buddhist monument in the World and the Himalayas with its original decorations, iconographic and wall paintings. The Tabo monastery compound have 9 chapels and the 32 life size clay sculptures in the main Assembly hall are the major highlights to experience.
Later we continue to Dhankar village where we will stay 1 night in a hotel overlooking the village and the valley.

Today morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and visit the famous Dhankar village – set up in the most dramatic settings of Spiti, famous fort (in ruins) and monastery. It is a small pretty village on a hill with an open view of valley down the side. Views are majestic from the top of the fort and monastery and one can see vast expanses of the Spiti valley. The setting is so beautiful and dramatic that this monastery should not be missed. If interested you can even walk uphill to the Dhankar Lake (1 hrs each side).
Today we will also visit the Kungri monastery in the famous Pin valley, which is a side valley in Spiti and famous for the Pin valley National Park- home to a variety of rare animals like the snow Leopard, snow ibex, the Himalayan blue sheep and the thar.
Depending on the road condition we do visit the last village Mudh in Pin Valley. Later we continue our drive to Kaza where you will check in to the hotel / tented camp for 1 night. Evening is free to explore the local market in Kaza.

Today after breakfast check out you will leave for the full day sightseeing tour to explore the World’s highest Himalayan villages and monasteries around Kaza. On Spiti Valley Road trip in a reasonable cost budget we will drive you to Hikkim village where you visit the World’ highest Post office located (4,400 metres / 14,436 feet). You can write and send the post cards to your loved ones from here.
Later we will drive you to Komic village (4,587 metres / 15,050 feet) which is now the world’s highest village joined to a motorable road. We will visit the Komic monastery (women are not allowed inside the monastery.) The village provides magnificent Himalayan Mountain views.
Later we will drive you to visit the Langza village where you will visit the village monastery and the statue of the Buddha overlooking the snow capped mountain peaks. Langza village is the part of the most fossil rich areas in the world by the Geological Survey of India and the Geological Society of America.
Later we will drive you to visit Key Monastery which is the largest monastery in Spiti valley. The monastery is an irregular jumble of low rooms and narrow corridors on a conical hill. The prayer chambers are interconnected by dark passages, tortuous staircases and small doors. Hundreds of monks receive their religious training in the monastery.
We will also visit the Kibber village which is the part of Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary. Here you have an option to walk to the nearby mountains where there are chances to search the big herds of Himalayan blue sheep and snow ibex, which can be seen in the nearby mountains. We will also visit the Suspension bridge on a gorge. Tonight you will stay overnight at Chicham in a home stay with a local family for 1 night. This will provide you a change to interact with the locals and have a deep insight to the day to day life of the people living in these remote regions of the Himalayas in Spiti valley.

Today after breakfast check out from the home stay at 07:00 AM and continue your Spiti Valley Budget Road Trip, you will be driven to Manali through Chandrataal Lake. Today you will drive over the Mountain Pass, Kunzum La 4,551 metres / 14,932 feet, which provides beautiful views of CB ranges and Himalayan Glaciers. Kunzum Pass is the Gateway from Spiti to Lahaul Valley or to Manali from Spiti Valley. The Bara Shigri glacier can be seen in front of the pass. Snow covered mountains and glaciers can be seen throughout the year from the Kunzum Pass which is open in early June to mid October depending on the snowfall. There is a temple dedicated to Goddess Kunzum, where each vehicle stops and takes blessing of the Goddess for their safe journey.
We will arrive Chandrataal Lake, 4270 metres / 14,100 feet (100 kms/ 5 hrs) by late afternoon. You have to walk the last 1 kilometers to visit the Chandrataal Lake also known as the "Lake of the Moon", as on full moon night it appears as if the moon and the stars have come down to the lake. At full moon night the reflection of the moon and stars can be seen in lake water. It is the largest and broadest lake in the region (1 km. in length). This clear blue water lake lies in a broad grassy plain with a presence of rugged mountains, snow covered peaks and it presents a picturesque beauty of nature to the visitors. Spend some time walking and relaxing around while admiring the natural beauty of Chandrataal Lake.
Later continue rive to Manali through Batal, Chatru, Khoksar and the newly built Atal Tunnel, below Rohtang Pass in Lahaul Valley, which with a length of 9.02 kms., and is the longest tunnel above 10,000 feet in the world. The road stretch from Chandrataal lake to Gramphoo over Kunzum Pass (65 kms), is a quiet rough, bumpy road and we cross couple of water streams this day. Our experienced and expert driver drives carefully and takes care of your comfort and safety on the Himalayan roads. On arrival at Manali check into the hotel and later evening is free to explore the Mall road of Manali / Old Manali where you can finish up your final shopping before returning back home. Overnight at Manali for 1 night.

Today early morning 7:00 A.M after breakfast check out from the hotel, on the last day of Spiti Budget trip full of adventure and fun, we will drive you to Chandigarh (290 kms/ 9 hrs). Our driver will drop you in the evening around 5:00 PM at Chandigarh railway station / airport from you will board your train/flight back home or for onward journey.

It is a private tour not a group tour, means it will be organised for you, your family, and friends or for your group only - No other people will be clubbed to travel with you. The Car and the driver will be provided exclusively for you, your family or friends.
E-Permits (e-Aagman) are required for All tourists to visit Chandrataal Lake or Atal Tunnel Rohtang-Koksar-Chandertal circuit to travel from Manali or from Kaza side. Applicants travelling with a taxi/ private vehicles who want to enter District Lahaul & Spiti have to apply for E-Pass. E-Permit per vehicle is required for Atal Tunnel Rohtang-Koksar-Chandertal circuit and without it you would not be allowed to Visit Chandratal Lake or travel on the above route. We will arrange e Permits for you.
Foreign tourists require an Inner Line permit to visit some of the areas which are close to the Tibetan border. These inner line permits can be obtained for this tour from the district magistrate at Shimla or Reckong Peo in Kinnaur valley and takes around 2-3 hrs depending on the availability of the signing authority for the inner line permits. We will assist you to the government office and help you completing the formalities to obtain the Inner Line permits.
Permits needs to be applied in the morning around 10:30 AM, on working days, from Monday to Saturday. Permits are not processed on Second Saturday and other public holidays.

Booking and Cancellation Policy May Vary In Case Of Joining A Group Tour.
We'll keep a check that your tour meets the following criteria, for you to be able to travel as planned. Due to sudden travel restrictions by the government, if it doesn’t, we’ll give you the best options for how to change your travel plans entirely or partially. You can still choose to postpone your trip or Cancel your trip. You are eligible for a Flexible Booking Policy in below conditions:
Your source of Origin, your City or the destination you planned to travel is on the government’s red list.
Your state government don’t allows you to travel to your destination.
Your final travel destination demand quarantining on arrival or implements any strict travel restrictions.
Due to any sudden travel restrictions at your home place or at the destination you Planned to Travel – You think you are not comfortable in travelling, or it would not be possible for you to carry forward with your travel plans, in such case you can request to postpone your tour for the time, situation become normal - in the next 12 months.
Postpone of your tour, will not cost you any extra amount, and the Cost for your tour will remain the same as quoted, even if any part of the tour arrangements like transportation, accommodation price may increase in near future. The only factor to keep in mind is that you need to postpone your tour for the same season/ off season—as cost for tours in season and off season may vary and changing from off season time to season time may affect increase of tour cost.
In such case of "postpone trip" we will not deduct any amount and will postpone your tour further, which you can book any time at the notice of minimum 45 days or more, but to avail the above benefit we must have received minimum 50% of the tour amount as advance from you.
Under our Policy "Book with Confidence: Our Flexibility Promise" during these uncertain times of Covid -19, you may alter your ground travel plans, free of charge, as long as the original tour departure date is outside of 90 days.
In Case you Don't want to Postpone your Trip, Want to cancel your planned Tour and Want Your Money Refund Back due to travel restrictions or lockdown by the government – In such case we will deduct flat 15% from the total tour amount and transfer your balance amount back to your bank account. It might take 5 - 7 working days to make all cancellations and transferring refunds back to your bank account.
Note: The retention of 15% will cover the unseen expenses of cancelled airline tickets, train tickets, advance paid to hotels, wildlife safaris, office expenses etc. "The Above Booking With Confidence : Our Flexible Cancellation Policy" Applies in Case of Lockdown or Travel Restrictions by State/ National Government Only – and can’t be claimed earlier than 28 days and later than 5 days before starting your tour dates.
In case you want to postpone you tour for later than 12 months- it is possible, but the tour cost will increase by 10% in such case as the hotel prices, monument entrance charges and transportation charges may increase after a year.
Cancellation of Flight tickets and wildlife safari tickets may cost little extra than the flat 20%, in some cases.
The price of your holiday is fully guaranteed and is not subject to any surcharges. The price guarantee applies to complete holidays bought from us and does not cover the purchase of individual items such as airline tickets / train tickets or any other items that are not booked with us. There are no hidden costs or extra’s in our tour prices.
Where the change is due to circumstances beyond our control amounting to force majeure, such as weather conditions, road blockage, snow fall, technical problems, civil disorder, decisions by governments or other associations, etc., we will offer comparable alternative arrangements. If any of the circumstances amounting to force majeure occurs during a tour we reserve the right to alter the tour programme, as required depending upon the circumstance, without offering any compensation.
You wish to alter your tour programme after the booking has been accepted for any reason; it would be altered only if, it is possible to alter the tour. Changing the date of departure, alteration of the tour will entail a charge of 1000 per adult and 500 per child below 12 years. Any request for alteration, once the tour has begun, will be treated sympathetically but we cannot guarantee that it can be made. Any cost incurred in making such alterations may cost extra and has to bear by clients directly.
The tour itinerary is subject to favourable weather and road conditions. In case of a bad weather and inaccessibility to certain destinations we will try our best to make alternate plans. The tour price will not be refunded / not to be adjusted in the event of unfavourable weather or road conditions. Any changes in travel itinerary/ hotel accommodations after the tour has begin will cost extra along with the alteration charges as stated above in the "Price Guarantee and Alteration Of The Booked Tour" Section.

A/C in the car will not work in the hill area ; it will be available in the plains during the rest of journey. In case you need full A/c service in the car during the tour, it is going to cost you extra and you need to discuss it with us while planning your holiday tour with us.
All the wildlife safaris booked into any of Indian Wildlife National Park/Sanctuaries are non refundable. Even date change request will be considered as cancellation and no payment will be refunded/ adjusted against it.

Internal flights in India provide 15 Kgs -1 piece luggage + 7 kgs hand baggage in cabin and extra baggage weight will cost extra charges payable at the airline, airport counter directly by clients.
Due to any circumstances, if you want to leave your tour in- between (except of lockdown by the government) then he/she/ you will not be refunded with any unused part of the tour amount.
No Refunds will be made for any unused accommodation, missed meals, unused transportation car, bike/ flights/ trains segments, sightseeing tours or any other activities/ services due to bad weather, ill health, strikes, political rallies, road blockage or any other factors beyond our controls. Such unused items are neither refundable, nor exchangeable and non transferable.
Rooms allocation is done by the hotel depending on the availability, at the time of your check in at the hotel and the room category are specified on your hotel confirmation vouchers provided by us. No Refunds shall be claimed from Summit Safari or Summit India Travels, if any of the services & amenities of the hotel were not up to your expectations.

Air/ Bus/ Train Tickets fare payment has to be made 100% in advance as the tickets have to be purchased in Advance from the concerned authority.
When you receive the Booking confirmation Vouchers/Tickets please check the Name and Other details carefully. Inform us immediately, if you found anything incorrect concerned to your final tour bookings. Names on travel documents must exactly match as per in details of your government id's, passport or any other identity proof.
Kindly carry your Valid Identity Proof Passport/ driving License etc., have to show at the time of check in at the hotel / airport / railway station.
People joining us on Motorbike tours -wearing a helmet, carrying a valid driving license is mandatory.
We shall not be responsible for any delays and alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, missing of flights, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.
All guests will be responsible for the safety and security of their own luggage. We will not be at all responsible for the damage/missing / lost luggage. All baggage and personal property/ belongings at all times are at the client's risk.
We do not have or provide any travel or any other kind of insurance policy covering the expenses for client’s accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. If required clients are advised to seek such travel insurance arrangements themselves.
