Today morning 7:30 A.M, you will arrive Shimla by overnight Luxury Volvo Coach from Delhi/ Chandigarh, where you will be met in the morning by our team and rest of the Group members to join for the Spiti Valley Royal Enfield Motorbike tour Package a lifetime trip to remember full of adventure. We will transfer you to the hotel in Shimla where you will fresh up yourself, get introduced to the other group members, while having breakfast. Later today you will ride to Narkanda (60 kms/ 2.30 hrs) for a short Familiarisation. You ride through the beautiful villages of Kufri, Fagu, Theog, Matiana, and will arrive Narkanda by late afternoon where you will stay in a lovely home stay overlooking the Apple, apricot and cherry orchard.
Late afternoon ride to Hattu Peak (3,400 metres/ 11,154 feet) at Narkanda, from where you can have a spectacular view of the mighty Central Himalayas and the valleys below covered with apple orchards and terrace farms. If you feel to do some adjustments in your motor bike, the accompanying mechanic will do the final adjustments for you in the evening. Exciting Day 2 of your Royal Enfield Spiti valley Motorcycle Bike trip to Kinnaur and Spiti from Shimla check out and start your ride to Rakcham / Chitkul (182 kms/ 8 hrs) the last Indian Village on the Indo -Tibet Border in Baspa Sangla valley. Riding along the fierce Sutlej river flowing in the gorges below we will reach Karchham from where leaving the Indo –Tibetian border road behind, we will take a road in to the beautiful Baspa valley. Riding on the challenging mountain road for another 18 km on the narrow winding road with hair-raising gorges & cliffs high above the Baspa River gushing below we will reach Sangla village by late afternoon.
On arrival at Sangla continue your riding to Chitkul (3,450 metres / 11,318 feet)- The Last Indian Village in the Baspa Sangla valley on Indo Tibet Border. The village of Chitkul is like something from a fairy tale, and you will have a chance to walk slowly around it. The landscapes are stunning, and you will have plenty of time to enjoy the natural beauty of the place. “This Land between Heaven and Earth is Kinnaur and is known as the Baspa Sangla valley, after river Baspa which flows through the valley. Here you will enjoy the unspoiled beauty of the mountains, rivers and nature full of Himalayan cedar trees, fruit orchards, barley fields and picturesque hamlets”. Today is one of the most exciting and longest riding day of your Spiti valley Motor bike trip. After breakfast around 08:30 A.M check out from the hotel and take ride to Kalpa village 2,960 metres / 9,711 feet (60 kms/ 2-4 hrs). We will ride to Roghi village and stop for the photo break at the So Called Suicide Point near Roghi village – Surprisingly which has been converted into a beautiful photo place saying "I Love Kinnaur" and is famous for its cliffs and Himalayan Mountain views. The finest view of the Mt. Kinner Kailash Mountain (6,050 metres /19,850 feet) can be had from Kalpa. This is a spectacular sight early in the morning as the rising sun touches the snowy peaks with crimson and gold light. The Kalpa village is covered with thick pine forests and is famous for fruit orchards of plums, apricots and apples.
We stop at Reckong Peo the district headquarters of Kinnaur district and can have time for lunch here or to buy the required essentials. Later continue your ride to Nako (100 kms/ 5 hrs) through the upper Kinnaur valley covering Spillow, Puh, Khab the meeting point of Sutlej and Spiti Rivers. Today the mountain views changes from green to brown as we arrive at the beautiful Nako village with traditional houses. On arrival check in to the home stay/ hotel in Nako. Evening free to explore Nako and enjoy the spectacular views of the Nako Lake, village and the Himalayas in the backdrop. The 15thcentury old, mummified body, in a sitting meditation pose of the Buddhist monk is naturally preserved due to the cold, dry and harsh weather of Spiti valley. The mummy of Gue village is believed to be around 600 years old, which was discovered here from a Stupa after the earth quake in 1975, while the Indo Tibet Border Force was clearing the area and building the road. Very clearly you can see the teeth, hairs and the well preserved skin on the bones of the Mummy of Gue in the Himalayas.
By afternoon The Spiti motorcycle group tour will arrive at Tabo where you will visit the Tabo monastery which is the oldest monastery in the Himalayas founded in 996 AD. Tabo Monastery is famous for its art and History and is the oldest continuously functioning Buddhist monument in the World and the Himalayas with its original decorations, iconographic and wall paintings. The Tabo monastery compound have 9 chapels and the 32 life size clay sculptures in the main Assembly hall are the major highlights to experience.
Later continue riding to the famous Dhankar village - set up in the most dramatic settings of Spiti, famous fort (in ruins) and monastery. It is a small pretty village on a hill with an open view of valley down the side. Views are majestic from the top of the fort and monastery and one can see vast expanses of the Spiti valley. The setting is so beautiful and dramatic that this monastery should not be missed. You do ride through the Pin Valley National Park to visit the Kungri monastery in Pin Valley,. Pin valley, is a side valley in Spiti and famous for the Pin valley National Park. Later continue your ride to Kaza where you will check in to the hotel / tented accommodation in camp for 2 nights. Evening is free to explore the local market in Kaza.

After Breakfast, Day 5 of the Spiti Motor Bike Trip we will ride the Royal Enfield Motorcycle for the full day sightseeing tour to explore some of the World's highest Himalayan villages and monasteries around Kaza. You will ride to Hikkim village where you visit the World's highest Post office located (4,400 metres / 14,436 feet). You can write and send the post cards to your loved ones from here.
Later you will ride to Komic village ( 4,587 metres / 15,050 feet) which is now the world’s highest village joined to a motorable road. We will visit the Komic monastery (women are not allowed inside the monastery.) The village provides magnificent Himalayan Mountain views.
Later you will ride to Langza village where you will visit the village monastery and the statue of Buddha overlooking the Snow Capped Mountains. Langza village is the part of the most fossil rich areas in the world by the Geological Survey of India and the Geological Society of America.
In the late afternoon ride to visit Key Monastery which is the largest monastery in Spiti valley. The monastery is an irregular jumble of low rooms and narrow corridors on a conical hill. The prayer chambers are interconnected by dark passages, tortuous staircases and small doors. Hundreds of monks receive their religious training in the monastery. Here you can practice Meditation inside the monastery chambers.
You will also ride to the Kibber village which is the part of Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary. Depending n the time you have an option to drive towards Gette village and climb the nearby peaks from where one can enjoy the magnificent views of the Key Monastery and the Spiti valley from the top. Even there are chances to sight the big herds of Himalayan blue sheep and snow ibex, which can be seen in the nearby mountains around Kibber and Gette.
The villages or Hikkim, Langza, Gette and Kibber are home to the Snow Leopards in the winters when they come down from the Himalayan Mountains to the villages in search of food and Shelter. Later ride to Chicham village through the suspension bridge on a gorge. Another day full of excitement, adventurous thrilling Royal Enfield riding experience during the motor bike tour through Spiti over the Kunzum Pass - after breakfast check out from the hotel at 08:30 A.M and continue your ride on the Spiti Valley Motorbike Trip 2022, to Chandrataal Lake 4,270 metres / 14,100 feet (100 kms / 5 hrs), where you will stay 1night in a fixed tented accommodation. Today you will ride over the Mountain Pass, Kunzum La 4,551 metres / 14,932 feet, which provides beautiful views of CB ranges and Himalayan Glaciers. Kunzum Pass is the Gateway from Spiti to Lahaul valley or to Manali from Spiti Valley. The Bara Shigri glacier can be seen in front of the pass. Snow covered mountains and glaciers can be seen throughout the year from the Kunzum Pass which is open in early June to mid October depending on the snowfall. There is a temple dedicated to Goddess Kunzum, where each vehicle stops and takes blessing of the Goddess for their safe journey.
You will arrive Chandratal Lake by late afternoon check into the fixed tented accommodation. Later walk the last 1 kilometres to visit the ChandraTal Lake also known as the "Lake of the Moon", as on full moon night it appears as if the moon and the stars have come down to the lake. At full moon night the reflection of the moon and stars can be seen in lake water. It is the largest and broadest lake in the region (1. in length). This clear blue water lake lies in a broad grassy plain with a presence of rugged mountains, snow covered peaks and it presents a picturesque beauty of nature to the visitors. Spend you afternoon walking around the lake and have relaxing time admiring the natural beauty of Chandrataal Lake. Overnight in Fixed tented accommodation at Chandrataal Lake for 1 night.

Today after breakfast check out from the camping accommodation at Chandrataal lake and ride to Manali (110 kms/ 5.30 hrs) through Batal, Chatru, Khoksar, the newly built Atal Tunnel, below Rohtang Pass in Lahaul Valley, which with a length of 9.02 kms, and is the longest tunnel above 10,000 feet in the world and Manali. The road stretch from Chandrataal lake to Gramphoo (65 kms / 4 hrs), is a quiet rough, bumpy road and will take a test of your riding skills. You will cross couple of water streams this day. We will arrive Manali by late afternoon. On arrival check into the hotel and rest of the time to explore Old Manali, The Mall road of Manali. Evening enjoy bonfire and music followed by drinks and dinner.

The last day of your Spiti Valley Motorcycle expedition from Shimla after breakfast check out at 8:30 A.M and start your ride through the less explored routes through Tirthan valley in the Great Himalayan national park. We ride through the amazing villages of Banjar, Jibhi, Shoja, over the Jalori Pass 3,140 metres to Shimla (240 kms / 9 hrs) where we will arrive by evening 6:00 PM. While cancelation - the motive of Summit Safari is to provide the maximum refund to the clients, which is possible to get back after all cancelations regarding the tour. Cancellation of a confirmed booking must be made by the client in writing or by email, to Summit Safari, and funds will be reimbursed as follows:
In Case of any travel restrictions or Lockdown implemented by the Government ; we’ll give you the option to postpone your trip, or receive a refund back.
Due to any travel restrictions at your home place or at the destination you Planned to Travel – You think you are not comfortable in travelling, or it would not be possible for you to carry forward with your travel plans, in such case you can request to postpone your tour for the time, situation become normal, in the next 12 months. Postpone of your tour, will not cost you any extra amount, and the Cost for your tour will remain the same as quoted, even if any part of the tour arrangements like transportation, accommodation price may increase in near future. The only factor to keep in mind is that you need to postpone your tour for the same season/ off season—as cost for tours in season and off season may vary.
In such case of "postpone trip" we will not deduct any amount and will postpone your tour further, which you can book any time at the notice of minimum 21 days or more, but to avail the above benefit we must have received minimum 50 % of the tour amount as advance from you.
In Case you don’t want to postpone your trip, want to cancel your trip and want your money back due to travel restrictions or lockdown by the government – In such case we will deduct 15 % from the total tour amount and transfer your balance amount back to your bank account. It might take 5 working days to make cancellations and refunds back to your account.

The price guarantee applies to complete holidays bought from us and does not cover the purchase of individual items such as airline tickets / train tickets or any other items that are not booked with us. There are no hidden costs or extras.
Where the change is due to circumstances beyond our control amounting to force majeure, such as weather conditions, road blockage, snow fall, technical problems, civil disorder, decisions by governments or other associations, etc., we will offer comparable alternative arrangements. If any of the circumstances amounting to force majeure occurs during a tour we reserve the right to alter the tour programme, as required depending upon the circumstance, without offering any compensation.
You wish to alter your tour programme after the booking has been accepted for any reason; it would be altered only if, it is possible to alter the tour. Changing the date of departure, alteration of the tour will entail a charge of 1000 Rupees per person (adult or child both).Any request for alteration, once the tour has begun, will be treated sympathetically but we cannot guarantee that it can be made. Any cost incurred in making such alterations may cost extra and has to bear by clients directly.
