Brief Itinerary : Delhi (3 Nights) > Agra (1 Night) > Ranthambore National Park (2 Nights) > Jaipur (3 Nights) > Shimla (3 Nights)
You will be met from your flight to Delhi International Airport by Summit Safari’s representative, and he will accompany you to your hotel in Delhi. Rest of the day is free at leisure to relax after the flight.
After breakfast, in the morning we will take you for a sightseeing tour of Delhi to view some of the famous sights of the town with. We will take a walking tour of the Old Delhi covering the Chandani Chowk, historic Red Fort, and the busy market. If interested we will arrange for a bicycle rickshaw ride in old Delhi or a Tuk- Tuk (Three wheeler) ride in New Delhi for you. We will also visit and the Raj Ghat, a memorial built for Mahatma Gandhi, a prominent figure in India’s struggle for freedom, Bangla Sahib Gurudwara ( a sikh shrine) , drive past Lutyen’s New Delhi and will also visit Gandhi Smriti, also known as the Birla house where –Mahatma Gandhi had lived the last 144 days of his life from 09 September 1947 to 30 January 1948 when he was assassinated in 78th year of life at Birla House Prayer Grounds by Nathuram Godse. Thus, the house treasures many memories of his life. Later we Visit the tomb of Humayun an early Mughal structure made of red sandstone and white marble. Second night in the same hotel in Delhi.
Today after breakfast around 08;30 we will drive you to Agra (220 kms / 4-5 hrs). On arrival at Agra check into your hotel and later after the lunch in late afternoon (3:30 PM), we will take you to visit the impressive Agra Fort whose buildings, made of red sandstone and marble, are a mix of Hindu and Islamic architecture. Later we drive back to Hotel and after freshing up in the evening around 06:00 P.M. we will take you to visit Kalakriti to view the “Mohabbat-the-Taj” a series of play, music and dance, depicting the saga of love. It is based on the true and immortal love story of Emperor Shajahan for Mumtaj Mahal- his beautiful wife, related to the story of Taj Mahal. The show will take you back to the times of the lavish lifestyle of Mughal era. Later on return back to your hotel in Agra.
Today early morning (05:30 AM) we will take you to visit epitome of love, The Taj Mahal at Agra, which is one of the most graceful and extravagant monuments of the world. Later we drive back to the hotel and after breakfast around 09:30 AM, we check out from the hotel and will drive you to Jaipur with an en route stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the red sandstone city built by Emperor Akbar that was abandoned after just 14 years. Reach Ranthambore by late afternoon. Check in at your hotel. Evening free at leisure.
Today you'll head into Ranthambhore park twice to enjoy a moring and late afternoon game drives through the Ranthambore National Park. Today early morning 05:45 AM, we will set off for the exciting jeep safari tour to the Ranthambore National Park where we have the chances to trace the tiger and the leopard along with many other animals, birds and reptiles within it. The jungle jeep safari continues for the next 3-4 hrs. We will return back to the hotel around 10:00 AM, where you can have your meals and some rest. Afternoon is free to have some rest and in the evening we will take you to visit the Ranthambore fort. A trip to the fort is a thrilling experience. Here you will definitely enjoy the breathtaking views of the entire Ranthambore National Park, as well as we will also visit the famous temple of Lord Ganesha (The God for Good luck) inside the Fort. Return back to your hotel before dark Second night at same hotel in Ranthambore.
Enjoy your final game drive in the park this morning before a leisurely breakfast back at your hotel. After breakfast, we will leave for Jaipur ( 3 hrs) the capital of Rajasthan ,also known as the pink city of India. We will reach Jaipur by afternoon. Check in at your hotel and after lunch in late afternoon we wil take a walking tour of Jaipur city and will visit the palace of winds from outside. If you wish we will take you to visit the handicraft crafts emporium where you can have a free look around the local art, crafts, Carpets, Gems, jewellery etc, as Jaipur is a treasure trove for shoppers. Overnight and dinner at the hotel and enjoy the Rajasthani folk dances at the Dinner time at your hotel.
Today early morning after the breakfast around 08:00 AM, we will leave the hotel to visit the17th century hilltop Amber fort. Being a perfect blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture, this fort attracts travellers from around the globe. Beautifully caparisoned elephants go up carrying visitors to the fort. These well cladded elephants make a joyride to Amber fort and in turn makes your travel to Amber fort a fascinating experience. Later on we will visit Jaigarh Fort, overlooking the palaces and city of Amer (Amber), the world’s biggest cannon on wheels- The Jai Ban is positioned here. The fort offers the amazing view of the city below. Later on return back to Jaipur and have lunch in a local restaurant. Later after the lunch we will take you to visit the city palace and the Jaipur observatory (Jantar Mantar). Later on return back to the hotel by evening. Second night in the same hotel in Jaipur.
Today you can choose to have a Day at Leisure or can choose to go for a walk in the local colourful market of Jaipur along with the shopping of Handicrafts. Jaipur is a treasure trove for shoppers, shopping is irresistible, a wide range of handicrafts are available in the market, and most of items are produced locally in and around the state of Rajasthan. The city is one of the most important centres in the world for cutting and polishing precious and semi precious stones, particularly that of diamonds, topaz and emeralds. Jaipur enjoys a high reputation for the manufacture of jewellery. It is one of the most active jewel markets of the world. Jaipur brass work is of immaculate quality. The Jaipur brass worker is successful in infusing life like charm into the dull metal. Jaipur is the perfect place to shop for Handicrafts, antiques, miniature paintings, jewellery, gem stones, pottery, carpets, textiles, metalwork, stone works including the Blue pottery and leather wear.
Even you can choose to go for a Ayurveda message or for a colourful cultural performance and dinner at an ethnic restaurant. Third night in the same hotel in Jaipur.
Today after breakfast around we will drive you to Jaipur airport from where you will board your flight to Chandigarh, in the foothills of Himalays, near Shimla, with a flight change in New Delhi airport. On arrival at Chandigarh you will be met by our driver and , assistance and they will drive you to Shimla (120 kms / 4 hrs). Shimla enjoys stunning scenery and was the summer resort of choice for the government of the British Raj.

After breakfast at your hotel your guide will take you for a sight seeing tour of Shimla town. We will visit the famous monkey temple (dedicated to Lord Hanuman) on the top of Jakhoo hills, Christ Church of Shimla, the Gaiety Theatre, the Mall Road with its scandal point, and the famous Viceregal Lodge where agreements for the partition of India and Pakistan were worked out. Shimla is ideal for walks, and life revolves around the busy Mall in the centre of town. Evening free to explore of your own. Second night in the same hotel at Shimla.
Shimla is ideal for walks. If you will be interested we will be taking you on a very pretty walk “Sipur village and nature walk (3-4 hrs)”. We will return back to the hotel in the evening. Or we can offer you some sodt walk, or just a half day of driving tour in Shimla Third night at the same hotel in Shimla.
After breakfast in the morning, you will be transfer to Shimla railway station to board the UNESCO World heritage, Kalka Shimla Mountain Railways of India, locally know as toy train- from Shimla (10:20 AM) to Solan (1:20 PM). This train travels very slowly up to Kalka (4:20 PM) and you see wonderful views en route as the train goes down from the mountains to the plains. Later on we will get down from the train at Solan railway station (3 hrs of train ride) and from there we will drive you to Kalka by road from where we will board the express Kalka Shatabdi train to New Delhi, from Kalka (5:45 PM) to New Delhi (9:50 PM). Enroute to Kalka we will stop for the lunch break at Barog. On arrival at New Delhi you will be met by your driver and we will drive you to your hotel in Delhi.
Today after breakfast at your hotel, you will be assisted and will be transfer to the international airport at New Delhi to board your return flight.
