Day 1 Arrival At Chandigarh and Drive to Shimla

On your arrival at Chandigarh airport / railway station you will be met by our driver and we will drive you to Shimla (120 kms /4 hrs)via Solan.Enroute you will stop for lunch break, comfort breaks. You will reach Shimla in the evening and will transfer to the hotel.

In the evening if time permits we will take you to visit the Mall road of Shimla.Shimla’s Mall Road, a bustling pedestrian street is renowned for its charming blend of British-era architecture, historic buildings like Christ Church and Gaiety Theater, and scenic mountain views. Lined with lively shops, restaurants, Scandal Point of shimla, and the bustling Ridge and Lower Bazaar, it’s a hub of culture and history.Overnight in Shimla.

Please Note:You may also begin your tour from New Delhi (370 km, approx. 8.5 hours from Shimla) or Ambala Cantt Railway Station (150 km, approx. 5 hours from Shimla), which are well-connected by rail and air to various parts of India. Chandigarh Airport, the closest major airport to Shimla, offers flights from major Indian cities, while Shimla Airport provides limited seasonal flights due to its smaller runway.

Day 2 Local Sightseeing in Shimla and Kufri

After breakfast, our driver will take you on a sightseeing tour of Shimla covering the famous tourist destination of Kufri. We'll start with the scenic Green Valley offering the stunning views of the Shimla water catchment area, followed by a stop at Yak Point, where you can dress in traditional attire and ride a Himalayan yak. Next, we’ll visit Kufri Fun World for exciting joy rides, and explore the Indira Tourist Park and Kufri Zoo, known for its Himalayan pheasants, leopards, and bears.

Today morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Manali ( 260 kms / 7-8 hr). Manali and is the district headquarters of Kullu Manali valley. Just a step away from the adorable snow mountains with views of lush meadows situated on the banks of river Beas, Manali is just 51 kilometres below the famous Rohtang Pass (3,980 metres). Enroute we stop for comfort breaks / lunch break and drive pass Sundernagar, Mandi, Aut and Kullu. We will visit the shawl weaving factory at Kullu. On arrival check in to the hotel and spend the evening exploring the vibrant Mall Road, local cafes, and bustling markets. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 4 Day Excursion to Solang Valley - Atal Tunnel - Sissu Snow Point & Lake

Today morning, after breakfast, our driver will take you on a full-day sightseeing tour around Manali, showcasing the mountain beauty of Solang Valley. You’ll travel through the breathtaking Atal Tunnel to reach Sissu in the picturesque Lahaul Valley, known for its stunning Sissu Lake and the snow point with snow-clad landscapes.

Nestled beside the serene Chandra River, Sissu is a picturesque gem at the entrance to the Lahaul region, just 40 km from Manali along the iconic Manali-Leh highway. Known for the pristine Sissu Lake, this small Himalayan hamlet serves as a gateway to three of India’s most breathtaking regions: Ladakh, Spiti, and Lahaul. Surrounded by majestic glaciers and towering peaks, Sissu captivates travelers with its raw natural beauty. Please Note: Snowfall in Sissu is typically available from November through May, depending on weather conditions. During peak snowfall months, particularly January and February, the road to Sissu may occasionally close for a few days until authorities declare it safe for travel.

Rohtang Pass remains closed due to heavy snowfall from mid-November to early May, making travel impossible during these 6 months. When the road reopens for tourists in the summer, typically from May to November, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) limits the number of vehicles allowed to Rohtang Pass each day. During peak season (May to July), local taxi unions set rates, which often vary and are not fixed. Therefore, the trip to Rohtang Pass is not included in your package.

If you wish to visit Rohtang Pass, we can provide an additional travel cost based on your travel month, or you may arrange a trip directly with the local taxi union in Manali, which our driver can assist in organizing. Please note that the Rohtang Pass visit is subject to permit availability, either online or through the local taxi union on the spot.

Day 5 Local sightseeing around Manali - Naggar- Manali

Today morning after breakfast our driver will take you for the sightseeing of Manali covering the famous sights of Manali including the Hadimba Devi Temple, Vashishth Temple and Hot water sulphur springs, Club house, Buddhist Monasteries, Van Vihar.

You can also visit the Naggar Village, used to be the ancient capital of Kullu, and is famous for the Naggar castle and the Nicolas Roreirch art galley as the famous Russian Philosopher, writer, painter Nicholas Roerich have lived here.Roerich established the Urusvati Himalayan Research Institute in 1928 in Kullu valley and passed away on 13 December 1947 in Naggar, Himachal Pradesh. His home here in Naggar village, is now a museum (closed on Monday).You will visit the Naggar Castle and The Rorerich art Gallery & Museum.

Day 6 Manali to Dharamshala

Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and we will drive you to Dharamshala (216 kms/ 8 hrs). Enroute if interested, today you can do the white water rafting in Babeli near Kullu. Enroute we will stop for lunch break and comfort breaks,we will visit the famous Lord Shiva Temple at Baijnath, the tea gardens at Palampur and Gopalpur Chamunda Devi temple on the way to Dharamshala.

We will arrive Dharamshala by evening and will check in at the hotel at Dharamshala /Mcleodganj- in the footsteps of Dhauladhar Himalayas.Originally home of the semi-nomadic Gaddi tribe, Mcleodganj is today the residence of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama. Evening is free to walk around the local interesting market of Mcleodganj. Overnight in Dharamshala/ Mcleodganj.

Day 7 Half Day Local Sightseeing in Dharamshala and Drive to Dalhousie

Today morning after breakfast check out from the hotel 9:00 A.M and proceed for the half day sightseeing tour around Dharamshala. We will visit the Dal Lake, Naddi Village view point, St John Church in the wilderness, Dalai Lama's Monastery & Residence(from outside), Bagsu Nag temple, war memorial, Dharamshala cricket ground, and the famous Norbulingka institute and monastery at Sidhbari.

Later by 2:00 P.M drive to Dalhousie (118 kms / 4 hrs). We’ll arrive in Dalhousie by evening and check into the hotel. Day 8 Full day excursion to Kalatop and Khajjiar

It is one of the most scenic saucer shaped Plateau and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests, its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the centre. Today we will visit the Kalatop where you can take a nature walk from Kalatop toll Bridge to Kalatop Rest House. Day 9 Dalhousie to Amritsar

Today morning after breakfast at 8:45 A.M check out from the hotel and we will drive you to Amritsar ( 200 kms/ 5 hrs). Enroute stop for lunch break/comfort breaks and on arrival at Amritsar we will directly drive you to visit the Atari Wagha border, on Indo-Pak Border -30 KM on the road to Lahore is India-Pakistan Border , where we have to arrive by 4:00 P.M. A visit to the border is an interesting experience especially at Sunset, when the retreat ceremony takes place with the Border Security Force on the Indian Side and the Sutlej Rangers on the Pakistan side putting up a well coordinated and spectacular display.
