Brief Itinerary : New Delhi > Chandigarh (1 Night) > Jawalamukhi (1 Night) > Dharamshala ( 2 Nights) > and back to New Delhi at the end
Day 1 Arrival New Delhi and Drive to Chandigarh
On your arrival at Delhi airport / railway station you will be met by our driver and he will drive you to Chandigarh (250 kms / 5.30 hrs). On arrival at Chandigarh check in to the hotel and later leave for the sightseeing tour of Chandigarh including the rock garden, Sukhna lake and the famous Mansa devi temple one of the prominent Shakti temples. Overnight in Chandigarh for 1 night.
Please Note: You can also start the tour from Ambala Cantt railway station (45 kms from Chandigarh) or Chandigarh railway station and airport, which have direct trains / flights, from many major cities of India.
Day 2 Chandigarh to Naina Devi temple and further to Jawalamukhi
Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and leave early in the morning for Himachal temple tour. Today first we drive you to Shri Naina Devi Temple (110 kms/ 2.40 hrs), which is among the prominent Shakti Peeths of India and at this the place the eyes of Sati fell down. Seek the blessings at the temple and drive further to Jawalamukhi Temple (102 kms/ 3 hrs from Naina Devi).
Evening have Darshan at the famous Jawalamukhi temple where the eternal flames continue to burn out of the temple walls. It is believed that at Jawala ji Sati’s tongue fell. In the complex there are couple of other temples including the temple of Gorakh Nath, Shitala Mata Mandir etc. After Darshan of all these temples check in to the hotel / Exotic Marigold Home Stay in Jawalamukhi for 1 night.
Please Note: You even have a choice to stay 3 nights at the centralised located Exotic Marigold home stay at Jawalamukhi, which you can use as a base and each day can explore the famous temples like Naina Devi, Bajreshwari Maata temple, Chamunda Devi and Dharamshala from here. It will give you some flexibility to visit some extra famous temples of Kangra like Kaleshwar Mahadev and Baba Baroh temple including the boast ride on River Beas and rural village experience.
Day 3 Visit Chintpurni temple - Baglamukhi temple - Kangra Bajreshwari Mata Temple and drive to Dharamshala
Today morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and we first drive to visit Chintpurni temple (35 kms/ 1 hrs) which is an another major Shakti Peeths of North India in Himachal Pradesh. It is one of the many manifestations of the Supreme Goddess Durga and it is believed that Sati's head fell at this place. Seek the blessings and after Darshan we drive to visit the famous Baglamukhi temple at Bankhnadi village. Baglamukhi is one of the ten forms of the wise Devi, symbolizing potent female primeval force.
Bagla Maata rides on Bagula (Crane), which is associated with Concentration, a pearl of great wisdom. Ma Baglamukhi is worshiped to win the enemies and overcome obstacles in life.
Later continue to Kangra (42 kms/ 1hrs) where you will visit the famous Bajreshwari Devi temple. It is believed that the left breast of Sati fell here making it one of the major Shakti Peeths among 51, in India. Evening drive to Dharamshala where you will stay for 2 nights.
Day 4 Chamunda Devi temple and Local Sightseeing at Dharamshala
Today morning after breakfast we will drive you to Shri Chamunda Devi temple, which is a fearsome form of Chandi, the Hindu Divine Mother Goddess Parvati. After visiting the Chamunda Devi temple we will drive back you to Dharamshala and will visit the tea gardens at Dharamshala. We will also visit the Dalai Lamas temple and Bagsu Naag temple in Mcleodganj. If interested, you can also walk to visit the Bagsu Naag waterfall (30 minutes one way). Evening is free to explore the local market of Mcleodganj. Second night stay in the same hotel in Dharamshala.
Day 5 Dharamshala to New Delhi back
Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to New Delhi (490 kms/ 10 hrs). Enroute we will stop for comfort breaks including the lunch break. By evening 6:00 P.M we will drop you at the New Delhi railway station/ airport from where you will board your train / flight back to home.
Please Note: You can finish the tour at Pathankot railway station which is 85 kms/ 2.15 hrs far away from Dharamshala and is connected to the major cities in India by train.
You also have a choice to extend your holiday tour to Amritsar for 1 extra night and visit the Golden temple and the Wagha border. Amritsar railway station and airport is well connected to all major parts of India and even on the last day after the extension tour to Amritsar we can drive you back from Amritsar to New Delhi 465 kms/ 9 hrs.

On request Internal Flights / railway tickets will be provided, to and from New Delhi back at the end of the tour---or you can book your flights/ train tickets directly

- A/c in the car will not work in the hill area of Himachal Pradesh; it will be available in the plains during the rest of journey.
